There is a big story behind his name being Keeravani. 64 years ago, a movie named Vipranarayana released and Keeravani Garu's father Siva Shakti Dutta Garu was inspired by a song Endhukoyi Thotamali from that movie. This song was in Keeravani Raagam and later when a baby boy was born in the family - Endhukoyi Thotamali song was still fresh in Siva Shakti Garu's mind and thus named him as Keeravani. The entire 90s era in film industry was ruled by Maragatha Mani's music. |
