| Video Discription | Puerto Rico is a beautiful island in the Caribbean discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493. With a rich history influenced by Spanish, African, and Taino cultures, it's famous for its stunning beaches and vibrant culture. Puerto Rico is also the birthplace of Reggaeton, home to MUSIC stars like Daddy Yankee, Jennifer Lopez, and the current king of pop, Bad Bunny But there's a darker side to this island. In the 1950s, the government aimed to eliminate informal favelas and barrios by creating housing projects, or caserios, to improve living conditions.However, these areas have become hotbeds of danger and crime.Drugs, violence, and shootings are daily realities in many caserios, most controlled by gangs.One infamous neighborhood is La Perla, where a tourist was killed and others attacked for filming. I decided to visit an even more notorious place: Lloren Torres, the largest caserio in the Caribbean. Known for its drug trafficking issues, Lloren Torres has been a gang hotspot since the 1980s. Despite warnings from locals, I chose to explore Lloren Torres to see firsthand the reality of life there. Join me as I go deep into Puerto Rico's most notorious hood and discover its ties to the Reggaeton culture we celebrate today all over the world."
