One of it: Mount Pilatus above Lucerne. Wonderful view over Vierwaldstättersee, Lucerne and the swiss alps. Perfect stay above the sea of clouds. Mount Pilatus is the local mountain of Lucerne. Just like something like the Üetliberg for Zurich. From Pilatus you have a wonderful view over Lake Lucerne (if there is no fog) and the whole mountain world of the Bernese Oberland. There are two hotels on the Pilatus. The Bellevue (a bit cheaper) and the Pilatus Kulm. No matter which one you're at, when you book a room you get a four-course meal and a great breakfast included! An extraordinary experience is to go to the Pilatus when there is a sea of fog. For me this is always a very special trip.
