SSC MTS Exam is a national level exam held for recruitment of personnel in General Group-C Central Service non-ministerial and non-gazetted posts in various departments, ministries, and offices of the Government of India. SSC MTS recruitment is organized by the Staff Selection Commission for various posts such as: Peon Gardner Daftary Jamadar Junior Gestetner Operator Chowkidar Safaiwala, etc. SSC MTS Salary After 7th Pay Commission SSC MTS is a Group C non-gazetted, general Central Government service. It is a non-ministerial post with pay band 1(5200 – 20200) + the Grade Pay of 1800 rupees. After the application of the 7th pay commission, not only the SSC MTS salary but the salaries of all the government employees increased by almost 20%. The take-home SSC MTS salary is approximately between 18,000 – 22,000/.
