| Video Discription | A must watch video. This is what happened with me in Mumbai this week. The traffic police really disappointed me. Music: 'Instinct' 'Slow motion' www.bensound.com I was riding my bike at Marine Drive and decided to visit Girgaon Chowpatty for some fast food. So I began searching for a parking spot. I came across a spot somewhere opposite to the sea facing side of Charni Road station. I asked a couple of people there whether I could park there and they said yes. However I still saw a traffic cop with his challan machine scanning for prospective targets or offenders. So just to be sure I even asked that traffic cop whether I could park there, to which he also replied yes. I still wanted to confirm it so I went back to the traffic police and pointed my bike, the Avenger 220 to him and asked him whether I was parked correctly, to which he replied yes again. So after receiving confirmations from the people around and the traffic police themselves I felt reassured and went to have some fast food on Girgaon Chowpatty. After some time when I returned, I was in for a rude shock as I was slapped with a fine of Rs.200 for a parking related offence! I was so furious just looking at that e-challan message flashing on my mobile phone screen. I wanted to get to the bottom of this and so began searching for the cop and caught him by the help of a bystander, the traffic police started to move away from me when he saw the camera in my hand but I followed him for almost 200 meters and began questioning him about the injustice and as to why I was fined for no fault of mine.I was even more angry when he talked about VIP people.
