In each of the 40 categories, fans worldwide choose from nominees representing movies, television, music and pop culture. This year, five-time Grammy Award-winning global superstar Shania Twain will receive the Music Icon award. Emmy and Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, rapper and actress Lizzo will receive the People's Champion award. Golden Globe and Grammy Award-nominated actor, producer, screenwriter and entrepreneur Ryan Reynolds will receive the People's Icon award. The 2022 "People's Choice Awards" will air on NBC and E! on Tuesday, December 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
