This year's Music PGCE cohort was challenged to put together a virtual ensemble. They covered Britney Spears' "...Baby One More Time" with a twist on the lyrics, paying tribute to course tutors Kate Laurence and Ross Purves.
Lyrics:
Oh, baby, baby
Oh, baby, baby
Oh, baby, baby
How was I supposed to know
That teaching was my calling
Oh, baby, baby
I’m on the 9th floor (9th floor)
Logan Hall is out of sight, yeah
Show me how you want it to be
Tell me, baby
'Cause I need to teach now, oh, because
My ADP
Is killing me (and I)
I must confess
I still believe, still believe
When I miss uni I lose my mind
Give me a sign
Hit me, baby, one more time
Oh, baby, baby
The reason I teach is Kate
Boy she got me blinded
Oh and you Ross
There's nothing that you wouldn't do
To help me get my QTS
Show me how you want it to be
Tell me, baby
'Cause I need to teach now, oh, because
My ADP
Is killing me (and I)
I must confess
I still believe, (still believe)
When I miss uni I lose my mind
Give me a sign
Hit me, baby, one more time
Oh, baby, baby
How was I supposed to know?
Oh, pretty baby
I shouldn't have let you go
I must confess
After IPS
The IOE bar
Is calling to me now
Will pizza be there?
Give me a slice
Hit me, baby, one more time
My ADP
Is killing me (and I)
I must confess
I still believe, still believe
When I miss uni I lose my mind
Give me a sign
Hit me, baby, one more time
I must confess
After IPS
The IOE bar
Is calling to me now
Will pizza will be there
Give me a sign
Hit me, baby, one more time
[Layered with chorus 'my ADP']
