Our Ukraine Travel Series started in Kyiv (Київ) the Capital of Ukraine. We had 10 days to see as much of country as we could. We spent the first few days exploring and eating our way around Kyiv, including a haunting but memorable day trip to Chernobyl and the ghost town of Pripyat. You can watch this as a separate video. Moving on south west of the country we took an overnight train to Ivano-Frankivsk before taking a hire car up into the Carpathian Mountains. Bad weather in the mountains restricted what we could achieve, before driving north to Lviv. Our final day was spend flying back to Kyiv to catch our flight home to the UK.
