| Video Discription | Clive Myrie is an award-winning British journalist, foreign correspondent, newsreader and presenter. He has reported from more than 80 countries, covering wars in Croatia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, and recently presented the BBC’s nightly news live from Kyiv when the Russians first invade, Ukraine. Clive has a particular interest in US politics and covered four Presidential races. In 2013 he co-anchored coverage of Nelson Mandela’s funeral from South Africa. Clive studied Law at Sussex University, which he has described as a turning point in his life. Since August 2021, he has been the host of the BBC quiz shows Mastermind and Celebrity Mastermind. Clive will discuss highlights of his career and share thoughts on international affairs with Ivor Gaber, Professor of Political Journalism at Sussex University.
