Here's a quick progress update: The East Stand, which will seat 12,500 fans, is nearly finished. Cranes have been busy installing the modular framework for the stands. The outfield has been laid and the crucial playing pitches have been transported and installed. The stadium is on track to be completed by May 21st, with a trial event scheduled for May 27th. The first official match, Sri Lanka vs South Africa, will be played on June 3rd. Cricket fans are eagerly awaiting the completion of this state-of-the-art stadium, which will be a major boost to cricket in the United States. |
