Specifically during the monsoon season very easily spiny gourd can grow up & available in markets. In Gujarat state of India it’s one of favourite monsoon (rainy) special vegetables recipe. It is usually serve with rotla, chapati or bhakhri. In this video I like to share very easy & traditional Gujarati style recipe kankoda nu shaak (kantola shaak/spiny gourd sabji). It is very quick recipe can me made in 10 minutes & can make it more delicious by adding flavour of garlic. Ingredients: Kankoda (Spiny gourd) - 300 gm or 1 Bowl Garlic (lasan) - 2 to 3 cloves Oil - 2 tbsp Mustard seeds - 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds - 1/3tbsp Asafoetida (Hing) - pinch Turmeric powder - 1/4 tbsp Salt to taste Sugar - 1/3 tbsp (optional) Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp Cumin-coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp Water - 1/4 cup Let’s enjoy monsoon special recipe Kankoda nu Shaak (Kantola Sabji) traditional Gujarati style !!!! |
