His divine playfulness makes the villagefolk realise the importance of an honest life and the fruitlessness of greed. His miracles as a child – whether appearing in many mandirs at same time or having the devtas’ physicians come to his aid – reveal his divinity to friends and family. Everyone in Ayodhya is touched and affected by His aura. But once His duty to his parents is done, he sets his sights westward, where his devotees await.
