We'll explain Intel's new Performance Cores, Efficient Cores, & the interconnects Intel ADL is using. The introduction of E-cores and P-cores for Intel ADL desktop CPUs allows for better efficiency, particularly in lower load work, and should theoretically help Intel with its power consumption, management, and resulting thermal envelope. This video also covers Thread Director, which is a workload scheduler to deal with these different types of cores, and other new technologies in the CPUs.
