| Video Discription | The beautiful Historic township of Uralla is located in the Highlands of the New England region of New South Wales. Rich in history and architectural beauty, it is a wonderful place to live and visit. Uralla is 20 mins south of Armadale and 1 hour & 20 mins south of Tamworth and is west of Coffs Harbour making it a great place to stop when travelling. There are many lovely places to eat and the pubs are renowned. Uralla is lovingly nurtured and protected by locals with it only improving with age. Uralla is also known for the infamous bushranger "Captain Thunderbolt" and his image and name can be seen in many places in the area. Thunderbolts Rock (his hideout), Thunderbolts death place and Thunderbolts grave are all Heritage listed local landmarks.
