| Video Discription | On January 23rd, 1994, CBS, after 38 years of service, televised its then-final NFL game as the Dallas Cowboys won the 1993 NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers 38-21. After losing the NFC package to Fox the following season, which caused a major ruckus in the American broadcast television landscape, CBS would get the NFL back in 1998 by acquiring the league's AFC package from NBC. Included in this clip is a farewell from the announcers as well as a montage highlighting some of the most memorable moments from the network's first 38 years of covering the NFL.
