| Video Discription | Dahi Kanji or Dahi Kadhi Kanji is an Authentic Odia Recipe which is very Popular in Odisha. Although it has many variations according to the region and availability of Vegetables. This is Our Family Recipe which is a favorite dish of mine since my childhood. I have learned this from my lovely Aai (Grand Mother). A Strong Tadka or Chunka as we call it in Odia (Tempering) is the Secret to a Good Kanji! And trust me you can know one by the smell of it. Since it has rice, vegetables and curd it is a very healthy and nutritious. Goes really well with Rice or you can Enjoy this as a Big Bowl of Soup. This is so delicious that from Elders to Children everybody will love this. Vegetable Choices: Radish Pumpkin Arvi Raw Papaya Bottle Gourd Brinjal/EggPlant Tomato Few Tips: 1. Cut Vegetables in Big Chunks so that it holds the shape and add veggies according to their cooking time. 2. In place of Rice paste you can use Rice Flour or Besan (Chickpea Flour), Just add 1 Tbsp (You can adjust according to the consistency) Besan/Rice Flour to the Curd and whisk well till there are no lumps and add to the Boiled Vegetable. 3. To avoid Cuddling of Curd: Always use Room Temperature Curd/Yogurt and whisk nicely. While Pouring the Curd Mix Keep Stirring Continuously and Flame should be low . 4.
