| Video Discription | Do you even 4WD? Do you ever take that thing offroad? How many parking spots do you take at the mall? Has that thing ever even been off the blacktop? I get questions like that all the time. Do I purposely look for trouble when I'm out in the RumRunner? Well, sometimes. But I do get it off the bitumen as often as I can. Forest Roads, dirt lanes, pig trails, gravel roads, those are my favorites. But I'm not scared to do some real offroading when the occasion presents itself. And some of the best trips I've taken were where there were no roads at all. Portsmouth Island for example ( https://youtu.be/w-jVZnt2tSo ). And then there are other folks, who love to get out in the woods just like I do, but who are hesitant to go down an undeveloped track---afraid of scratching the paint on their rig. While I can understand that concern, if you worry too much about that, you'll never leave the hard road and you'll park out in the edges of the Wal-Mart parking lot because you are afraid a shopping trolley will hit the side of your rig. In this video, I take a needed break and head out to one of my favorite areas-- The Osceola National Forest. You may have heard me mention that place before. I see bee hives, muddy ponds, rutted tracks, and I drive down one of my favorite trails in the Forest Road system, 266. I may or may not have picked up a few forest pintstripes on that trail.
