| Video Discription | An Air France plane from Mauritius to Paris made an emergency landing in the Kenyan coastal city of Mombasa, early Sunday morning. This followed a bomb scare after a suspicious item was spotted on board. According to police, the Boeing 777 Flight 463 was heading to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, when it requested an emergency landing at the Moi International Airport at 12.37am local time. It had 459 passengers and 14 crew members on board. It had left Mauritius at 9pm. Officials say a device suspected to be an explosive was discovered in the plane's lavatory. No casualty was reported after the emergency landing, but some of the passengers were rushed to hospital. An investigation into the device has since been launched. |
