| Video Discription | Manekji Rustomji Dharamshala, is a more than hundred years old Parsi Dharamshala at Kolkata, established in the year 1909. This Dharamshala is now maintained by Parsi trust. Mr. Dara Hansotia and his wife Mrs. Meher Hansotia they are the appointed managers of Manekji Rustomji Dharamshala. Meher Hanstia runs a catering service, named Meher Caterers, this catering service serves authentic Parsi cuisine. Last Sunday I went there and tasted the Parsi food and believe me I was literally blown away by the taste of their food. I tried Akuri as a breakfast, then tasted some of their Parsi Veg Kababs and Cutlets. Later on I tasted Meher Special Chicken Cutlets, these are kind of Russian cutlets, made with Chicken, Egg, Potato and Cheese. And the taste was so yumm! For lunch they made Chicken Farcha as starter the most celebrated Parsi food Dhanshak and Brown Rice as main course. Then the dessert came and it was Lagan Nu Castard, another very special Parsi dessert. The food, the hosts and the ambiance all are class apart from any other places. I enjoyed it fully.
