| Video Discription | Sali Boti Mutton is an Iconic Parsi dish which is served in Parsi Weddings and Navjotes. It is a mutton curry which is served with Potato crisps or Potato sticks called Sali. For this recipe I have used store bought Sali (Potato Sticks) however if you want to make your own, click on the link below to see how it is make Sali https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vqf3LPBJMVs Ingredients 750 gms Mutton on the bone 6 green cardamons - 5 to 6 cloves 1 large cinnamon stick 2 large onions chopped 2 large tomatoes chopped 2 tea spoons ginger garlic paste 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder 2 tea spoons Kashmiri chilli powder 1 and 1/2 tea spoon salt 3/4 tea spoon garam masala powder 1 table spoon yogurt 5 table spoons oil Method Place a pressure cooker on medium heat and add 5 to 6 table spoons oil Add 6 green cardamon, 1 large piece cinnamon stick and 5 cloves Add the chopped 2 large onions chopped and fry until golden brown Add 2 large tomatoes chopped and cook for a minute. Add 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute Add 2 teaspoons kashmiri chilli powder, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and 1 and 1/2 teaspoon salt and cook for 3 to 4 minutes Add 1 tablespoon yogurt and further cook for 1 minute Add the mutton and cook for 3 to 4 minutes coating the mutton in all the masalas Add 2 cups water, stir everything well and bring to a boil Pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistles Open the cooker after it has cooled and add 3/4 teaspoon garam masala powder and give it a final stir.
