| Video Discription | Ah, the backdated 911. What's not to like? All the goodness of a mostly modern Porsche with the iconic shape of a classic sports car we all love. While you usually see 964s donning the clothing of an early 70s RSR car, this particular car, built by Passion-Driven, started life as a '78 911 SC. We can thank Singer for writing the book on perfecting the back date process, and thank many others for following suit and introducing their own flair on the cars. This car wanted to drive fast. It didn't like the slow moves for this photoshoot. It bucked like a horse waiting to be let loose into the open pasture. I would imagine by the way this car is set up, on the stiff side, it is geared to an open road course environment. Regardless, it had a wonderful stereo by JL and never skipped a beat during our fling on this Spring afternoon. The air-cooled sounds echoed off passing buildings, and the Olympic Blue paint reflected off gallery windows in the design district of downtown Dallas.
