| Video Discription | All of us have lied in some point of our lives. Some small lies, white lies and some very big lies.it can be accepted as part of the normal behavior when we say or speaks, some of the white lies that we call them. We don’t want to hurt the other person and that is why you say them. You may want to save the situation at that point of time. So many times you lie and you couch it in a socially acceptable words. so these are passed off as lies and at times they are acceptable, When people say lies for almost each and everything it become almost as a disorder. Among the psychological disorders, pathological lying has found a mention in the diagnostic manual which say that a person who lies most of the times, and g fabricate events can be classified as mentally ill. So look at it whether you are one of those so a little bit of lying which does not hurt anybody and acts as a social lubricant is acceptable but too much of it over the top is certainly likely to classify you as somebody who is not stable and sane. Children do lie a lot which troubles parents for small children to differentiate between fact and fantasy may be very difficult and they may do so either to give vent to their highly creative imagination like some boast of their parents wealth or boast of giving gob to some places which they have really not etc just like a competition among their friends, so most of the children as they grow up tell them to give up laying and start telling the truth as they are no longer afraid and they realize that telling the truth has a lot of benefits than lying and once they start telling one lie, it starts what is called as “web of lies” from which it is very difficult to extricate themselves. So compulsive lying is very difficult however harsh or unpleasant the consequences are and not try to hide behind fabricated lies. |
