Jagannath devotees have fascinated him with many names from their love - such as Kalia Dev Thakur, Jagabandhu Mahaprabhu etc for his greatness (vogoban ki mahima). Devotional place Puri dham and the temple (alayam) is always festive and joyful focusing on the oath service and ritualism of these tri-deity in every month around year, there are so many popular attractive holy Parban (festival) during the year to this sacred Jagannath temple and around the Puri city like as – Snana Yatra Dol Yatra Uttarayan Pusyavishek Akshaya Tritiya Nabakalebar Chandan Yatra and special big Utsab Ratha Yatra (Chariot festival), except these unique nice Utsav (festival) here an extraordinary amazing religious ritual happen regularly or daily afternoon near about four P.M at Puri Mandir that is really very surprising and unseen event, it is Flag Changing or hoisting (Dhwaja Paribartan / Potaka Badalna) ceremony, you will see thousands of tourist and traveler people who are waiting for a long time to see this excellent (chamatkar) exciting view and the outstanding scene of marvelous interesting tradition, you will see two fearless brave young person are physically rising high to the 214 feet top height of that tall large super temple (deula) from the ground to take the big bundle of different colors beautiful flags to change the olds and in the same way they are coming or returning back after change or fix them bringing with those old flags which they have changed recently. Every day, many devotees (bhakta) stand in the temple premises to look at this rare awesome scene . India is known as a temple of country, This old (purana) ancient (prachin) historic stone made wonderful tallest or highest temple (kovil) being with four doors is truly beautiful and attraction of Indian people again this brilliant marvelous temple is one of the strange wonder of high thought engineering technique that is miracle in this world from ancient architectural art and sculpture, so many powerful cyclonic storm have flown over this amazing temple about thousands of years, but this stunning shrine (mandir) is still standing in the same way that is unbelievable to imagine, many of us think that is the greatness or glory of jagannath.
