| Video Discription | Adani Group is gearing up to transform digital experiences with its Adani One super app, an app that promises to bring together a wide array of services in one single digital platform. Adani One super app was built by Adani Digital Labs - a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises. The application was launched in the public domain in December 2022. However, setting ambitious targets, the Adani Group aims to have its super app installed by one in three Indians by 2030. In the face of competition from other major players, will Adani do what Tata Neu and Paytm failed at doing? First, let's understand what a super app is. As the name suggests, it's an application that sort of has superpowers to act as a one-stop solution for various services. From messaging, to making payments, online shopping, booking tickets, playing games, and a lot more – all get merged into one single app. Adani One isn’t there yet, but it intends to get there sooner than later. Right now, the application is limited to utility bill payments, credit card payments, insurance premium payments, hotel and flight bookings, and purchasing food and beverages at Adani-run airports. FASTag recharges, and hailing cabs. It has garnered 3 crore users and clocked an annual gross merchandise value of Rs 750 crore. But Adani Group isn't the only player in the super app arena. It faces fierce competition. For instance, Reliance Jio - spearheaded by Mukesh Ambani - launched its MyJio super app. Tata Group rolled out its Tata Neu super app in 2022 and in the same year, it managed to have 12 core customers. But, somehow, the Adani One super app - which was launched just a few months after the Tata Neu app in 2022 – is stuck at 3 crore users to date. What will it take for Adani One to crack the code? Well, for starters, the Adani group is on its path to enhance its digital strategy by building a strong B2C venture. The group is associated with companies like Google, Microsoft, ICICI Bank, CitiBank, and payments firm Pine Labs. Last month, Adani Group took its first step towards bringing financial services to its super app. The group collaborated with ICICI Bank and Visa to provide a seamless payment experience to the customers. Going forward, the Adani group aspires to connect 40 crore users via its super app till the end of its decade. While the task is daunting, it remains to be seen whether the Adani One super app can mark this 16-fold jump from 3 crore to 40 crore users by 2030. .............................................................................................
