| Video Discription | I call this guitar piece "Woodwork." I wrote it many years ago and almost forgot about it. This came from the years when I was really into acoustic two-handed tapping, fingerpicking, and experimenting with various resonances and harmonics on the guitar. Recently, I reacquainted myself with the piece and am now documenting it here so that I won't forget it again. I play this piece in Dropped-D tuning. Generally, I tend not to deviate too far from standard tuning (EADGBE). I enjoy tapping on the bass (wound) strings in this number as opposed to the high strings. I like that "thacky" sound.
