| Video Discription | Motorists should brace themselves for a jump in the fuel price. The price of petrol will go up by a massive 82 cents a litre from midnight next Tuesday. This will push the price of petrol to a record high of above 15 rand a litre. The price of diesel will go up by between 85 and 87 cents a litre. Illuminating paraffin is will jump by one rand nine cents a litre. And LP-GAS - which people use in gas heaters - is going up by a steep one rand 38 cents per litre. Higher oil prices and a weaker rand are to blame for the hefty fuel price hike. Economists say the massive hike in fuel prices next will lead to higher price inflation in other consumer products.
