| Video Discription | An unused voiced sound effect from the English version of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations. During the climax of Episode 5: Bridge to the Turnabout, Phoenix and Mia's spirit present one final clue to reveal the truth of the case. Across all versions of the game, there is no voiced "Objection!" during this iconic scene. Instead, there is a special echoing sound effect that plays without any voices. However, it seems that originally the echoing sound effect was to be accompanied by an echoed "Objection!" voice line of Phoenix and Mia, as heard in this video. It is speculated that their "Objection!" voice line was taken out of this sound effect in the final version of the game, because there is no contradiction pointed out during this scene, so an "Objection!" would have likely sounded awkward in the current version of the game's script. This is quite unfortunate, as this unused voiced version of the scene would have elevated this great moment even more. Only a minor rewrite of the game's script would have been needed to make the "Objection!" fit in the flow of the dialogue. Or they could have chosen to have them exclaim "Take That!" without having to rewrite the scene at all, instead. As far as I am aware, there is also an unused Japanese voice line for this scene, and perhaps there exists a version of this sound effect with voices for each of the language localizations that all went unused.
