| Video Discription | This footage is a sample of what happens if you drive into the outer out of bounds area. In Mad Max, leaving the main map and driving through the Big Nothing kill wall Storm, either through cheats or a glitch, takes you to the Big Nothing, the first out of bounds layer of the map. This area is known to include the main menu area, highlighted by my map marker, final boss arena, a Dev room, and a massive empty environment to explore. If you continue in any direction away from 0, you will drop off the map into a massive, seemingly endless salt plain. As far as I am aware, no one has driven as far as I have in a straight line. I spent ~10 hours driving South into the nothing, slowly encountering what I assume to be a floating point error causing entities and effects to loosely estimate their position data. I also noticed the skybox rotating, but I can't prove it. Anyway, this was a fun experiment. I used WeMod Mad Max trainer to give myself infinite health and fuel in order to easily escape the main map, however you don't necessarily need it. You can glitch through the kill wall when a storm starts, but it's inconvenient. I hesitate to recommend WeMod because my antivirus flagged it, but it seems to be fine. |
