The demo gave western players their first chance to explore the Sinnoh region, placing new trainers on a demo exclusive variant of Route 203, with trainers using then new Pokemon such as Pachirisu and Cherrim. It also gave trainers three Pokemon of their own to use - Lucario, Mime Jr. and Roselia - with a special evolution event for Roselia at the end of the demo!
