It takes me from 10 to 40 hours to craft and to edit each of my stories for upload. Unfortunately, I am of limited means, and to put out my audiobooks on YouTube as free to listen to, I have to use AI voices. The minimum cost of voice actors is $250 per finished hour which actually takes around 6 hours to complete. My stories currently range from around 30 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes. It would therefore not be financially viable for me to put out the fifty stories that I hope to put out this year as free audiobooks. With regret, I don’t have the training or the voice to do it myself. I would recommend therefore that if you are averse to AI narration to pass on by to other channels that have the funding to use paid narrators.
