| Video Discription | "Go, Go, Parody Rangers!" Originally submitted to Newgrounds on September 21st, 2006 My first animation to hit the front page of Newgrounds. The idea was sparked originally by a bunch of sound clips on Sheezyart recorded by Egoraptor, in combination with a lack of Power Rangers cartoons on Newgrounds. Prior to this, I had produced at least two season's worth of "TvTome Adventures" purely for the sake of telling a story, regardless of how many people were watching. This was a more "selfish" period of time for my animation, as this was the first time I crafted a project specifically to gain viewers. That said, were it not for the trilogy of Parody Rangers cartoons I made over that year, I wouldn't've learned as much as I did about Flash or the artistic community I wanted to be a part of. So although there's some personal regret, I also acknowledge that these cartoons spread my name around as an artist and I owe a lot to the characters and the actors that portrayed them. I still have a soft spot for the rangers and villains from this cartoon; hope some of you out there do too! |
