| Video Discription | Pronation and supination are normal motions of the foot/ankle. Your body cycles in and out of these positions with every step you take. Most people have a resting foot position on one side of the continuum. Some are more pronated, while others are more supinated. This is dependent on many factors: athletic history, shoe history, muscle strength, flexibility, etc. It's important to note that your foot position is not permanent and can be changed with exercise and lifestyle habits. Knowing your foot type can help you find a better neutral position for your exercises and prevent injuries.
