Transcript: "Products of the Future" -- Flying Car Sketch The host of the video is talking to the camera as a group of people in the far ground are gathered around the flying car. Host: For thousands of years man has dreamed of flight but it wasn't till the last 100 years that man achieved their goal. These flying vehicles however have always been limit to airports and helipads by their size and logistics for flight. A practical domestic flying machine has been a long sault after dream. The ability to lift off and land from your home to work would be the perfect solution for the daily grind through rush hour. But the day of the flying car is coming closer to hand with the release of "future tech industries" first practical flying car, the ZX274. The car achieves flight with the use of the forced ionic wind generator. Air is drawn into the front of the engine with use of a compressor similar to that on a jet engine. T he air is then ionised with a high voltage charge. This air is then accelerated to ultrahigh speed by used of a series of powerful magnetic coils. The benefits of this technology are its lack of moving parts and its high thrust to wait ratio. Other benefits include a much quieter engine and as it's a completely electrical form of propulsion it can run off of any fuel type. The car lifts up as everyone looks up in awe. Host: As this vehicle is designed for the consumer market the ZX274 has been fitted with many novel safety features. In case of sudden power loss, the car is fitted with a secondary engine that lowers it down to the ground gently *(1) and in case of a sudden crash or loss of both primary and secondary engines; the car is fitted with an emergency parachute as well as internal and external airbags *(2) *(1) The car falls suddenly from the sky crushing the people standing in the middle of the group. The car lurches forward knocking over another bystander. *(2) All external airbags fire knocking down the rest of the crowed. The host looks behind in disbelief.
