Starting April 3rd through April 8th the Health Department will host this anticipated event at various locations and is collaborating with community partners, recreation centers and Detroit Police Precincts to help Detroiters learn how to live healthy. Public Health Week includes the following free general health screenings and activities: Blood pressure checks Glucose Cholesterol Kidney function HIV Testing CPR training Narcan training Distribution of STI kits Additional services: Medicaid enrollment COVID-19 Vaccinations (Ages 5+) No appointment, ID or health insurance is required.
