| Video Discription | August 7, 2020 - Putnam Park Road Road Course - Ford Mustang GT500 DRIVER COMMENTS: The GT500 is a surprisingly good track car. Given the massive power and lower price tag compared to some of the more exotics, I expected it to be good on the straights only -- but it was a very fast, very predictable car in the turns. Very enjoyable car to drive on track! EXPERIENCE COMMENTS: This was the last of 3 cars I drove this day. The car I drove just prior was the AMG GT-R and that car's rear end stepped out on me, so I was concerned about it here. This car was perhaps not as fast, but more predictable (and relaxing) to drive. This instructor was the best I've had -- communicated clearly, not giving too many instructions, and letting me enjoy the drive. And it turned out well! |
