| Video Discription | For a few months now, I've been doing my TR&CI series, and don't worry, I'll still be doing plenty more of that, in fact I've got some really good ones coming up soon. But... I still see on Reddit, comments on other YT channels, and also encounter in stores that I'm going to, players that still get some of the basics wrong. It's not bad, they're not screwing up, they've just never had someone point it out to them yet. We were all new at Magic at some point, and to help those players out that aren't ready to start getting into replacement effect, SBAs, layers, etc... yet, this series is for them. For this first episode, I'm going to take a look at the common belief that you can stop an activated or triggered ability from resolving by killing the source of the effect. You've tapped your creature to do EFFECT and in response I'm going to Path to Exile it in order to stop that from happening. I hear/read it at least every month, so hopefully this will help to inform that it will not work out like that.
