But on Thursday (April 24) senior Advocate Ram Jethmalani couldn't cast the ballot as he was refrained from voting. Suffering a similar fate like Rajya Sabha MP HDFC chairman Deepak Parekh too was unable to vote. After reaching the polling booth he found out that his name was missing from the list. Commotion was also witnessed at several polling booths in Mumbai, as angry voters complained about missing names. With several names missing from the list, this fiasco impacted the turnout embarrassing the poll panel in Maharashtra.
