| Video Discription | In October, the Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race and Justice at Harvard Law School hosted "The Career of Thurgood Marshall," an event that examined the impact the activist lawyer, court of appeals judge, Solicitor General, and Supreme Court Justice. In his presentation, Harvard Law School Professor Randall Kennedy focused on neglected features of Marshall's career. Harvard Law School Professor William W. "Terry" Fisher, followed the presentation with additional commentary. Both Kennedy and Fisher served as law clerks for Justice Marshall in the 1980s. Following the professors' remarks, the floor was opened to "questions, comments, and objections."
