In an exclusive interview to Rajya Sabha TV Prasad says that when adultery case, Sabrimala case, can be fast racked then why not this old case on which people across communities want the ram temple construction. On being asked if the govt will bring in an ordinance, Union Minister said that govt will follow the constitutional course. Prasad even defended the recent home ministry circular issued on Monitoring and intercepting data on the computer saying that plea of privacy can't become a shield for terrorists. He said the order is in the interest of the security of the country. Defending the Raphael verdict, Prasad said that its a vindication of the govt 's stand and that utmost transparency was followed in all the procedures of acquisition.
