Speaking to ANI, the NCW Chairperson said that a lot of torture has happened to the victims of Sandeshkhali and assured the victims that the National Commission for Women stands by them. “A lot of torture has happened on the women there, I will go to every lane and talk to the women and want to assure them that I stand by them. So that they can come to the front and speak up,” she added. Talking about what actions will be taken further against the heinous crime she said, “First I will speak and then we will take action.
