Many homes lost, unbreathable air, power outages, and an enormous fire burning through my valley. Seems there will be no respite for a couple months unfortunately, until rain comes. This is not meant to perpetuate fear, only update you on my situation. This is not abnormal for this area. It is important to stay positive and focus on caring for each other at this time ❤️ We are all safe and our town is facing the destruction together and supporting those who have lost their homes. It’s a long road ahead, and this disaster will affect my channel in several ways: 1. When I first heard about of the fires I worked ahead and made some videos, knowing the blue skies might disappear. Soon I’m hoping to get some respite from the smoke by visiting family on the coast. 2. I do not want this channel to be focused on the wildfires, these videos are my haven to retreat from stressors like this (especially since we will probably have fires until fall, and I do not want to dwell on it more than needed). However, I will make a single video on this topic soon updating you on the situation, hoping by then to know whether or not my home is safe and no evacuation will be needed. 3.
