| Video Discription | #reptile #mortalkombat #soundtrack This is my guitar cover of Reptile's theme, from the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie. The original song is "Control" by Traci Lords. Reptile was always my favorite character in MK2 and Ultimate MK3. The new 2021 movie was fun, but I felt his portrayal left a lot to be desired. I'll always prefer him in human disguise, and I think his old school storyline as Shang Tsung's bodyguard is more compelling. The 95 movie is a guilty pleasure of mine and Liu Kang's scene with Reptile is still one of the best fights in the franchise. I tried to stay true to the original song while still putting my own spin on some parts. Little reptile animations made by me for something extra during the intro / end.
