| Video Discription | After a lengthy refurbishment lasting almost 8 months, the Revenge of the Mummy ride has reopened at Universal Orlando with some brand new updates! The ride closed down on January 7th, 2022 for the refurbishment and was slated to open sometime "late summer". The ride opened on a Technical Rehearsal basis (which is Universal's term for a soft opening) at the end of August after the long refurbishment, and I was actually able to visit Universal Studios Florida just a few days after the Mummy reopening, so of course I had to grab a few rides to see exactly what changes were made. I'm super excited to share my thoughts and opinions about the updated ride along with what Universal ACTUALLY changed about the ride and is it any different than before the refurbishment. Revenge of the Mummy is my absolute favorite ride at Universal Studios Florida and one of the best rides in ALL of the Universal Orlando Resort, and I know many of you out there feel that it's the best ride at Universal as well.
