It's a funny-sad memoir about how Sheffield overcame emotional turmoil after the untimely death of his wife through the power of, among other things, karaoke. His adventures take him from Manhattan to the Mojave desert, and from grief to flat-out exuberant head-over-heels love. We caught up with Sheffield at BookExpo America 2013 and talked about all things karaoke, including the perils of doing your own rendition of Sinatra at a retirement community. |
