| Video Discription | We tried for months to obtain public records from the Williamson County, TX sheriff's office to show the public how taxpayer dollars were used in producing the TV show. The sheriff's office refused to turn over staffing scheduling to show the number of deputies used for filming and the names of people arrested during the show so we could investigate the outcomes of those criminal cases. The sheriff also would not respond to requests to video those taxpayer-funded deputies participating in Live PD episodes, nor would Sheriff Robert Chody agree to schedule an interview to answer questions over the show, the spending or the arrests made. |
