| Video Discription | Conventional GPS on drones are good for basic navigation, but only get about 4-5 feet of accuracy. If you have an application that requires inch level precision, this just wouldn’t cut it. Thankfully, a proper RTK GPS set up can be used to get inch level precision. Until very recently, RTK GPS used to cost thousands of dollars. Today, you can get a module for $250 bucks. But will it work on a drone? Getting the inch level accurate GPS coordinates are one thing, but can the autopilot use it for say… a novel approach to precision landing? Precision landing is a requirement for many drone delivery applications.
