| Video Discription | Ruma Guhathakurta though was known as a singer who was popular for her choir music and the lead singer of Calcutta Youth Choir but she started her career as an actor at an early age of ten when she acted in a movie as a child artist where the lead protagonist was Dilip Kumar who incidentally played his debut role in a Hindi film. Ruma was the daughter of the famous singer Sati Devi & incidentally the niece of Satyajit Ray the international film-maker. She once was married to the famous Indian singer Kishore Kumar. Though her contribution to film acting was more than singing, she has rendered some remarkable songs in Bengali. She has done playback for many movies as well.
