| Video Discription | Here I will show you the most important events and the causes of the Russian Revolution of 1905, in a short history documentary. The Revolution began when the controversial Orthodox priest Georgy Gapon, led a huge workers' procession to the Winter Palace to deliver a petition to the Tsar, and the troops guarding the Palace opened fire on the demonstrators, an event later known as Bloody Sunday. This mass political and social unrest that spread through vast areas of the Russian Empire, included worker strikes, peasant unrest, and military mutinies.
