There are no fences so animals drink from the pool and wander under the cabins at night! This luxury stay cost us $270 (4,974 Rand) a night for each of us, but it also included all our meals, private game drives on the reserve, and had a more personal experience than the public park. Lower Sabie Rest Camp (https://goo.gl/maps/7F2dE6gA1q1ey6rj7) - Nestled in the southeast of Kruger, this public camp's location is ideal for animal spotting. Elephants, lions, hippos, you name it -- it's here. We stayed in a bungalow (cost 1,976 Rand or $110 USD for 1 night) and then in a hut (cost 845 Rand or $46 USD for 1 night). Skukuza Rest Camp (https://goo.gl/maps/qPrj7hPAbpdDyTUT7) - This public camp is further north of Lower Sabie, and its large campus has a variety of accommodation and dining options.
