McLaren Park was the site of the first ever mountain bike race in San Francisco on 7 Sep 2013. While it might not be Whistler Bike Park, it is mountain biking in San Francisco! So check out Bikeskill's Jason Van Horn and Inga Beck taking a quick tour through McLaren. On September 7th, 2013, the SF Urban Riders are putting on SF's First Mountain Bike Race— the SF MTB Festival. A fundraiser for the McLaren Bike Park, it promises to be a good time, with the feature event being a short track race on a two mile loop. We rode the loop last weekend and managed to piece together a brief edit of the course.
